Easter

There were truly so many fun things about Spring Break. We had family visitors (YAY for Ma and Papa plus Beav!) visits to organic farms, the spa, Griffith Park, the Long Beach aquarium and MORE.

Totally fun and completely worth all of the exhaustion. Really and truly.

We had a memorable and fun Easter and you know what, it was so not exciting.

We drove down to San Diego and had a wonderful and delicious Easter dinner with my aunt and her family. Then, after a couple of hours we drove down to La Jolla and frolicked and Children's Beach with the sea lions. We romped in the water, walked the shore line and took photos. It was a near perfect day. After it was over, I felt warm and refreshed.

The birthday plugs on...

So, not only did Sawyer turn 6 but we had to have a party to celebrate, right? Of course we did. AND, we were lucky to not have to endure Chuck E. Cheese or Pump it Up for a party -- Sawyer chose the movie theater and we got to see MONSTERS VS. ALIENS. Completely and totally adorable!

Sawyer is {6} !

I can truly hardly believe it. On April 4, 2009 we celebrated Sawyer's 6th birthday. AMAZING. These years have flown by.

What we've been up to...

Happy Easter. The best thing about Easter is the candy. The rest of the day is only "eh" for me.

Anyway, it's been spring break, I still have a ton to do...but here in is a quick summary in photos of what we've been up to.

Anyway, Sawyer had a birthday in there...there are more pictures to share...and the next couple of days will hopefully have some goodness. Plus, the kids go back to school tomorrow!

everyday life

There are things about this life that frustrate me, but I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Example one: My bouncing baby boy. He's growing every day, becoming busier and more exquisitive. He finds new ways to get into trouble, creating tornadic messes along the way. Number 3 is definitely different than 1 and 2. But, you know what, I wouldn't trade him for anything. He's sweet and cute and nice...he says mom and dad 143 times a day...he loves us without restraint...and he's just plain wonderful.

This everyday life is a wonderful one. It's full of ups and downs but luckily for us, mostly ups!

*NEWS FLASH* : It's official, I have the smartest toddler ever

I know you've heard that before, some mother claims her baby is the smartest one ever, one to rival Albert Einstein. This time, it's true.

Today, the baby and I were in the car, stopped. Baby starts shouting "Dada, Dada, Dada". This went on for a bit so I looked back to see him pointing out the window. I looked out aforementioned window and saw a white Toyota Prius. (This is the kind of car Andy drives) All the while, Harry is still shouting "dada, dada".

I proceeded to ask him if he saw Dada's car. He then started flapping and kicking and nodded his head yes. The 16 month old baby recognizes his dad's car!

See? I told you he was the smartest toddler ever!!

And, to not leave my other braniacs out...

Sawyer is ROCKING his sight words and is doing all kinds of math problems!

Campbell passed his 10's for division last week! He's 7 and in 2nd grade!

I'm one proud momma! But not only that...I'm thrilled with our little life and how happy it is. All of my dreams have come true and all that I wished for, I have. I would say that it can't get any better than this. But, I know, tomorrow will be EVEN BETTER than today!
