sick

poor sawyer. he's a little bit sick. I heard him cry out once in the night - but that was it. He woke up and told me that he'd thrown up in Campbell's bed. I couldn't figure that out since Cam sleeps on the top and Sawyer sleeps on the bottom. Did he climb up on top and loose it up there?

Nope, turns out that he was talking about his own bed. He apparently thinks that the bed HE sleeps in is just cam's bottom bed.

Anyway...he's been laying around today. After we picked up Cam from school he promptly repeated the sickly act in the kitchen. Twice.

Getting ready for Iowa

the countdown is on! 11 days until we head to the aiport and go into the frozen tundra, otherwise known as Iowa. I'm excited, nervous and suddenly, cold. No, really, my feet are quite cold. (I just glanced up at the thermometer in the backyard. It says 82*)

anyway. i'm making lists of things we need (mental lists, not on paper lists) like booster seats and clothing -- plus all of that baby gear. we need coats (where *are* those?!) and hats, plus warm shoes for sawyer. luckily, we just bought him some spiderman slip ons since all he wore prior were crocs! it will be easter while we are there so we have to mentally take note of the bunny too! sounds like it'll be so overwhelming that I'll ignore it for at least another 9 days then frantically run around completely stressed out trying to get ready. I'll blame it all on not having time. HA HA!

In the spirit of planning our trip to Iowa -- above are a few pics of the boys and Chicky Bird. Also known as the Chick or Uncle Gary. He won't be in Iowa of course, but we saw him a few weeks ago!
