a bit absent

I have been a bit absent. Again. I'm quite a slacker, anyway. I DO still have my Saint Patricks Day flag up outside. And, there are still egg ornaments on the white tree I decorate all year. So, this should come as no suprise!

BUT I was going to update with photos and tales from Sawyer's 7th and incredibly fun birthday party. Instead I will show pictures of my handsome love since he's down for the count with strep throat. Enjoy and I will return with pictures of old fashioned fun that filled my soul and heart with such wonder and amazement. Love this kid!

PS-He hates his freckles. How is that even possible?

Do you play with play doh? We do.

Do you cut it and make fun shapes and trees? We do.

Do you make play doh tacos? Do you pretend to eat them? Do they have a truck as the filling? We do that, too.

Do you do silly things and have fun all day long? We definitely do that, too.

I think that you should always take the time to smell the flowers. Roses, more specifically in this case. It might make the days like this seem a little less daunting.
